The factory crankcase ventilation system constantly dumps carbon-based contaminants back to the air intake. These contaminants, when mixed with hot EGR gases, cause harmful sticky carbon buildup in intercooler, intake manifold, and intake valves. The PPE Oil Catch Can Kit is designed to combat these issues effectively. Key features include molded, oil-resistant, one-inch-diameter PCV hoses and a highly efficient stainless steel filter screen, which removes oil and water vapor exiting the PCV valve.
